Avoiding Financial Fraud: A List Of Forex Scammers

There is a wide variety of investment opportunities available in the financial markets, including stocks, currencies, and digital currencies. You should be informed of the risks associated with these marketplaces before deciding to participate in them. In this thread, we’ll look into the charges of fraud against four different platforms: Forex4You, Power Function, http://bigone-eth.com/, and AMMTRON.COM.

Forex4you

Forex4You, a retail foreign exchange broker, has been providing online trading services for a variety of financial instruments, including currency pairs, precious metals, and CFDs. The company was founded in 2007 and is based in the British Virgin Islands. It is regulated by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) of the BVI. However, despite its reputation, it is not available in every country and is even prohibited in many countries.

Some traders shared that they received a notice that their accounts would be blocked because the company does not offer services to residents of certain countries. They were then offered a complicated way to withdraw funds from their account, which ultimately did not work. Despite reaching out to customer service multiple times, they received the same explanation, and eventually, the service stopped responding. This has led the trader to believe that Forex4You is a scam.

Another trader who has been with the company for over four years shared that their experience with Forex4You has been mixed. They praised the broker for being good but criticized the staff member for being unprofessional. A staff member has even been calling their clients and encouraging them to change their partner code, which the trader believes is a cheap marketing strategy to steal their clients.

Some traders, who had been trading with Forex4You for months, shared that the company had adopted a new style of cheating. For example, they had promised a 1:500 leverage but randomly changed it to 1:40, which resulted in the trader being short of funds to add any more entries. The trader reported the problem multiple times, but it was ignored. When they requested to close a few entries, the company closed all entries without their permission and nullified their account. The trader also shared that the so-called manager of Forex4You is a big fraud and urged others not to believe in Forex4You as it is a big fraud broker.

While Forex4You may have a reputable name in the market, it is not available in every country and some traders have had negative experiences with the company’s staff and policies. It is important for potential traders to thoroughly research and consider all options before choosing a broker.

Power Function

Power Function is a UK-based online trading platform that has been operating for 1-2 years. It claims to be regulated by the United States, but upon closer inspection, it appears that its regulatory license is suspicious. It has been verified that this broker currently has no valid regulation, and traders should be aware of the risk involved in using this platform.

United States regulatory agency, NFA (National Futures Association), has recognized Power Function as an unauthorized entity. The official regulatory status of the platform is Unauthorized, which means that it is not authorized to do business in the United States. The license number provided by the platform, 0544730, is also not valid.

One trader shared their experience with Power Function, stating that they were drawn in by a woman named Kim, who they met on WhatsApp. Kim convinced the trader to join her in the “real world” of trading and provided a brief demonstration of the platform’s capabilities on Metatrader 5. Initially, the trader invested $500 and made a small return, but Kim insisted that they invest at least $10,000, which the trader did not have. The trader then invested an additional $3,000 and made another small return, bringing their account balance to $4,275. However, when the trader attempted to withdraw their funds, they found that their login no longer existed, indicating that the platform was a complete scam.

At this point, we can conclude that Power Function is an unregulated and unauthorized online trading platform that has been operating in the United Kingdom for 1-2 years. It has a suspicious regulatory license and traders should be aware of the risk involved in using this platform. The platform should not be trusted and should be avoided.

AMMTRON.COM

AMMTRON.COM is an online investment platform that claims to offer a decentralized finance project. However, it has been identified as a scam site that has been associated with the emerging market of Tinder crypto investment scams.

The scam operates by individuals posing as potential love interests on Tinder. They will work to gain the trust of their victims over time, before recommending the AMMTRON.COM platform as a good investment opportunity. However, once the victim has invested their money, it becomes impossible to withdraw it, and the scammers will often demand additional funds to “unlock” the account.

One victim reported investing $22,000 on the platform, of which they were only able to get half back. They were also required to invest $2,000 every day for 10 days, only to be told that their account was locked. When they confronted the scammer, they were told to add an additional $43,000 to unlock it.

Another victim reported being scammed out of $12,000 on the platform. They warned others not to trust AMMTRON.COM or anyone who recommends it, as it is a scam site that will take and hold your money.

It is important to be aware of the expanding Tinder romance crypto scam space and to be cautious when encountering potential love interests on dating apps that recommend investment platforms.
